The Psychoanalytic Referral Service has been providing psychoanalysis and psychotherapy to adults, adolescents, and children for nearly 40 years.

The Psychoanalytic Referral Service

The Psychoanalytic Referral Service (PRS) was established to assist Clinical Associates (CAs) with psychoanalytic training and to provide a service to the community by offering reduced fee psychoanalysis to interested individuals.

PRS has been providing referral for psychoanalysis and psychotherapy to adults, adolescents, and children in the Northwest for 40 years. The professionals associated with PRS are fully trained and licensed mental health professionals from all the major mental health disciplines (psychiatry, psychology, social work, and nursing) who have completed, or are pursuing, advanced specialized training in psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy at SPSI.
Persons seeking treatment through the Referral Service are evaluated by a PRS committee member and referred to an appropriate clinician. The referral service does not monitor or otherwise participate in the treatment of patients. Treatment fees are a matter of private arrangement between patient and analyst, based on what the patient can reasonably afford.

Those interested in being referred may e-mail SPSI or leave a confidential voice message at 206 328-5315 for more information.
